#121: Regulating Energy Levels through Mitochondrial Repair with Ari Whitten
Show Notes

Do you want to live life with more energy? Are you tired of feeling tired all the time, even when it feels like you shouldn’t? My guest this week, Ari Whitten, is talking to us about mitochondrial disruption and how this little “powerhouse of the cell” is doing a lot more than providing energy; it’s defending your cells against the elements!

You will also hear…

  • How mitochondria are impacted by health, lifestyle, and environmental factors
  • The importance of reducing lifestyle and environmental toxins in your life
  • How to reverse the damage to our overworked mitochondria through the use of “good stress”
  • The benefits of the hormone melatonin (and whether or not the supplement is right for you)
  • How food relates to mitochondrial health (when we eat, as well as what we eat)
  • And more!

A healthy GI tract has an epithelial mucosal barrier that prevents the passage of food proteins, toxins, and microorganisms from crossing into the bloodstream.

Stress, overconsumption of alcohol, food intolerance, microbial imbalance and poor nutrition can affect the integrity of the epithelial barrier.

The ingredients in Leaky GutLift help regenerate and maintain the intestinal mucosal barrier. It's unique formula includes nutrients that support the gut mucosal epithelium.
